Location: Corporate Office - Richmond, VA

Department: Operations

• Assist Operations Technology Billing Systems Manager with day to day management of billing systems issues
• Audit daily sampling of freight bills for accuracy & make corrections, if necessary
• Act as liaison between centralized billing department & terminals with regards to billing questions
• Review images of bills of lading for accuracy & completeness
• Compile reports summarizing usage & billing accuracy
• Assist in the maintenance & management of skeleton bill system
• Test new functionality within billing system as necessary while becoming efficient with the system
• Serve as expert on the Estes freight billing system
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree in business related field desired
• High school diploma & equivalent work experience in lieu of college degree
• Must be fluent in English language
• Prior transportation experience, preferably in LTL industry preferred
• Must possess extensive knowledge of Estes freight billing system
• Excel, Word, AS400 & email knowledge preferred
• Excellent analytical & organizational skills, strong problem solving skills, must be detail oriented, with advanced written & oral communication skills
• Must be a self starter working with minimum supervision with the ability to multi task to set & meet deadlines in a fast paced team environment
• Prior experience in ground delivery systems (parcel), air freight or truckload helpful & desired
• Prior operational analysis experience desired
• Could require night hours & will require minimal travel
